Ronald Woperis invented the idea of attention as a product. A Twitter account is on sale at eBay from a guy who has amassed over 1500 followers. Is this the first indication of the monetary value of one's network of relationships? Can attention be bought by individuals in the same way advertisers buy eyeballs?
